LATUSBOX is an innovative and versatile solution, designed for all  DIN rail and wall mounting applications which require the use of a common motherboard and the connection of additional boards, like a FIELD BUS structure. The primary aim of LATUSBOX is to offer maximum flexibility and customization, allowing users to adapt the system to their specific needs.

LATUSBOX description

The LATUSBOX system is composed of modular components that can easily be combined to fit the different needs of applications.

Its more prominent feature is versatility, with two models of enclosures, according to the required width. Moreover, the enclosures can be aesthetically customized through digital print or laser print either on the semi-transparent front panel or on the enclosure itself.

The enclosures are designed to allow the use of connectors on the bottom part and thus the connection to the motherboard - thanks to the modular seat; in the bigger version, it is also possible to use plug-in terminals on the front area.

The modular seat, to be fixed on the printed circuit board, allows the insertion and management of 8 enclosures with a width of 9.8mm or 4 enclosures with a width of 19.8mm.

The levers to be applied to the modular seat are used to block the enclosures in the position, connected or disconnected to the motherboard and to ease the removal of the enclosure. The modular seats can be placed side by side, therefore without any limitation of enclosures to be accommodated.

Thanks to the polarizers to be fixed on the enclosure and on the modular seat, each enclosure can be positioned only where polarization allows it. This ensures a mechanical lock that prevents electrical connection in wrong positions.

Step 1 - Selection A-Kit Enclosure

Choose between:

• Closed or open cover (3)
• Base (2), also closed or open, for the 9.8mm version

or

• Base (4) for the 19.8mm version
• Front door (1)
• Eventual polarizers (5)

Step 2 – Selection B - Kit Enclosure Seat

• Modular seat (5) for fixing 8-position enclosures for the 9.8mm version or 4 for the wider 19.8mm version.
• 1 lever (6) for each 9.8mm wide enclosure.
• 2 levers (6) plus 1 accessory (7) for each 19.8mm wide enclosure

Step 3 – Selection C of the profile from the following link SUPPORT 

• SUPPORT profile (9) of series E107, according to the desired length
• Couple of lateral closures (10)
• 3 screws for each closure (11)
